Marketing tips for new Indie Authors

Last week, I decided to use the Facebook ads as a marketing tool for my new book. For about 5 days, I didn't see any dramatic increases in my sales.
Then I discovered "free press releases" and I created 2 free ads online yesterday. I sold 4 books in one night. Hey, something's working!

So I'm thinking of removing my facebook ad since i'm paying for it, and focus only on the free press releases.
